Covers principles of chemistry applicable to the understanding, design, and control of pollutive chemicals on environment, waste treatment and reactions. Topics include chemical, physical principles, reaction kinetics, acid-base equilibrium, mineral precipitation/dissolution, and electrochemistry. Focuses on the theoretical description of chemical reactions relevant to engineered processes and natural systems, and the applicable solution of these problems.
